When "Gospel" was released, it brought Michael back to his musical roots. He dedicated the album to his departed Granny and there is no doubt each and every selection was a moving tribute. The arrangement of "John the Revelator" can bring congregations to their feet in praise. The same could be said for "Gospel Ship" with its rousing and infectious beat.
